Since local business owners hire local workers, about half of all private sector workers are employed in small businesses, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics – money for taxes and wages stays in the community, too.

The potluck supper is scheduled for November 19, at 6 p.m. There will be a potluck supper then singing at 7 p.m.

The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold a turkey dinner fundraiser on Friday, November 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes scrumptious turkey, dressing, all the fixin’s, dessert and a beverage.

The Baxter Health Auxiliary is sponsoring a sale by Collective Goods on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. The sale is taking place in the Lagerborg Dining Room of the Baxter Health Cafeteria.

Saturday November 12, VFW of Bull Shoals will partner up with Bull Shoals Police and Fire Departments to raise funds in the Harps of Bull Shoals to raise funds for shop with a cop. This is a wonderful cause as we raise funds so that the police and fire can take needy children Christmas shopping for their families.
