Arkansas Press Association
The Arkansas Press Association will hold its second Press Freedom Gala on Thursday, October 12 at the Chenal County Club in Little Rock. The evening will begin with an hors d’oeuvres reception at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner and the program at 7 p.m.

Weekend Weather
Friday-Partly cloudy with a high near 92 degrees and a low of 67 decrees with a slight chance of rain. Saturday- Partly cloudy with a high of 96 degrees and a low near 70 degrees. Sunday- Isolated showers are possible with a high around 97 degrees and a low near 72 degrees. Next week expect Temperatures to in the mid to upper 90s for highs and lows in the low to mid 70s.
School is BACK in SESSION
Yellville - In North Central Arkansas (NCA), Schools are beginning to welcome the children back to the campuses. The most important thing for commuters in the morning and in the afternoon is to allow extra time to slow down for school zones and stop for school busses.
