The 2024 Big Creek Golf & Country Club Cup Team successfully defended the Ozarks Cup for a fifth straight victory over Harrison Country Club last weekend thanks to a powerful comeback which saw Big Creek win the last five matches on the course to go from being down 16.5 to 11.5 to scratch out a tie at 16.5 to 16.5. The Cup remains with the defending champions in the event of tie.

Keirstin “KJ” Moore finished her last track meet as a member of the Yellville-Summit (Y-S) Lady Panther Track and Field team. She was 5th overall and competed in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Long Jump, Discus, 200 Meter Dash, Shot Put and the 800 Meter Run.

The Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers sent their State Champions to the Meet of Champions at Lake Hamilton High School Wednesday, May 8. Keirstin “KJ” Moore and Riley Hopson led the Lady Panthers.

The Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers have built a “Dynasty” by winning the State Championship for the fourth consecutive year in a row. The Class 2A 2024 State Championship Meet was held at Quitman High School Tuesday, April 30.

The Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers and the Y-S Panthers traveled to the Junior High Conference Championships Wednesday, April 17, to compete in the Conference Track and Field events at Eureka Springs High School, The Junior Lady Panthers won the conference title, while the Junior Panthers finished a good showing finishing in 3rd place.
