Big Creek Golf & Country Club had international visitors last week for the United States Golf Association - USGA U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier on July 1.

On Friday, July 1, Uriah Standridge officially signed a national letter of intent to play college baseball for the Trailblazers of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. Standridge became only the second player signed to the brand-new program at the ASUMH.

The Yellville-Summit Panthers Babe Ruth team finished the season Monday, June 27, with a perfect record 10-0. The team defeated Valley Springs 9-1 and Marshall 11-0 in the Harrison Parks and Recreational League. Bryce Ott and Hunter Raley were the winning pictchers for the record.

Submitted by Lang Zimmerman The Big Creek Stroke Play Club Championship was played on June 25. Congratulations to Luke Jackson (with trophy) for defending the title he won for the first-time last year.
