Bobcats and Lady Panthers rise at Rosson Invitational

HARRISON – The Marshall Bobcats and Bergman Lady Panthers showed up in a big a way at the Rosson Invitational at Harrison High School on Thursday, April 16. Marshall’s Jaydon Salas produced enough points to help Marshall to a 4th place finish. Kyna See led the Lady Panthers to another 1st place finish, by winning by 44-point, during a tremendously successful season.

Lady Panther Domination

By Robert Lyons 2026 has been the year of the Bergman Lady Panthers thus far. The Lady Panthers recently won the Rosson Invitational Thursday, April 16 in dominating fashion. The 44-point win over the competition was a complete and total team effort.

Championship Saturday at NAC

On Saturday, February 28, the North Arkansas Pioneers and Lady Pioneers competed to the NJCAA Region 2 Regional Championship inside the Pioneer Pavilion. The Lady Pioneers competed against National Park College from Hot Springs. The Pioneers played the ASU-Midsouth Greyhounds in the Men’s Championship.

Local Schools Postpone Games

By Robert Lyons Winter Storm Fern blew through North Central Arkansas with a fury last week. Snow and sleet began to accumulate causing road conditions to deteriorate, making travel treacherous. The weather plays a part in each and everyone’s daily lives as it changes. This storm caused county offices, schools and even retailers to close or drastically modify hours of operation.
