James Newsom, age 73, of Harrison, won his battle with ALS and went to see his Savior on Saturday, June 17, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones. Jay, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on November 21, 1949, and grew up in Cotton Center, Texas on a family cotton farm.
