Kenneth Andrew Barnes, 53, of Harrison, went to be with the lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center with his wife and children by his side. He was born on November 17, 1970, to Buddy and Vernadean Barnes of St. Louis, and has been a lifelong resident of Boone County.

Mary Whiteside of Harrison

Mary Jo Whiteside, 78 of Harrison, passed away on September 30, 2024, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on January 20, 1946, in Grants, New Mexico, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Scyrkels) Massey.

Denny Larsen of Pyatt

Denny Larsen went to his Heavenly home on September 23, 2024, after a battle with cancer. He was born December 30, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Laura Larsen, and proudly served in the US Navy. He is survived by his wife of fiftyone years, Linda; daughters: Lisa Starr, Kristen (Andy) VanDyne, and Lori (Paul) Smith; grandchildren: Stephen (Ariel) Smith, Spenser (Samantha) Smith, Samantha (Noah) Chagnon, Bruce Sabo, Jordan (Derek) Stoops, Sydney Starr, Levi VanDyne, Luke VanDyne; fourteen great-grandchildren. sister-in-law, Maxine (Max) Wensel; brother-in-law, Jerry (Lynn) Clayton; a dear friend, Mark Bogardus; and other extended family and many friends. Denny was preceded in death by his parents; brother Doug; sister, Sue; infant daughter, Karen; in-laws, Max and Doris Clayton; nephews: Jim Coffman and Justin Clayton. A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Pyatt Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark Vance officiating. Interment of the ashes will be at Fort Snelling Military Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, scheduled for a later date. Lyndle Bullard of Jasper
