Eva Mae Robertson Eaker Proffer, 92 of Diamond City, passed away at her home with her daughter Carol by her side on June 25, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1932, in Indiana, Porter County, the daughter of Reed and Madeleine (Barnard) Robertson.

Sean Patrick Summers, 54, of Franklin, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025. Born on August 19, 1970. Sean lived a life filled with adventure, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and country.

Staria Marie Hawkins Simpson, 62, of Midway, passed away on June 15, 2025, at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Star was born on January 7, 1963, in Batesville, to Chester Columbus Hawkins and Bonnie Marie Ring Hawkins.

Robert “Bobby” Vernon Bishop Jr. 66, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away June 16, 2025, at his second home with his family by his side. He was born in Louisiana November 12, 1958, to Robert Vernon Bishop Sr. and Cecil Marie Bishop who preceded him in death.

Peggy Jean Moore, 91, of Harrison, passed away June 7, 2025, at Hospice of the Hills House with her family. Peggy was born January 10, 1934, in Weir, Kansas, to Joseph and Virginia Stricklin.

Linda Rhaelene James 75, of Mountain Home, passed away at Care Manor in Mountain Home on June 18, 2025. She was born in Denver, Colorado on November 18, 1949, the daughter of Virgil and Elsie (Paxton) Macon.

Shawn Weldon Smith of Little Rock, beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2025, in Little Rock.

Donald “Don” Wayne Young, 82, of Omaha, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at his home.

Albert “AL” Dee Wallace Choate, 74, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on June 5, 2025, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Al was born on March 27, 1951, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Marshall and Mary Pauline (Coleman) Choate. Al was a big ole teddy bear that loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He would drop whatever he was doing to help them out. He had a sidekick named Chico, his rat terrier/chihuahua mixed little buddy. Chico followed him everywhere. Al went to high school at Harrison; he was a big star football player.
