Daryl Lindman of Bull Shoals

Daryl John Lindman, 64, of Bull Shoals, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Bull Shoals. Born on September 25, 1960, in Geneva, Illinois to Omer and Bergit Torgerson Lindman, Daryl lived a life marked by hard work, service to his community, and a gift for storytelling that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Daryl began his career as a truck driver with Elgin Motor Service, where he spent many years criss-crossing the highways and building lasting friendships. Later, he dedicated four decades to being a Water Operator for Bull Shoals, Mountain Home, and Lakeview-Midway. He also committed over 20 years to the Bull Shoals Volunteer Fire Department and held a seat as a Councilman since 2013. Daryl loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends outdoors. Daryl is survived by his sons, Brian (Josephine) Lindman of Berlin, Germany, and Eric (McKenna) Lindman of Bull Shoals: brothers: Orin Lindman of Dexter, Missouri, and Kevin (Marlene) Lindman of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Ella May of Bull Shoals, and Henry Erik of Berlin, Germany; stepgrandchildren: Anton, and Leni of Berlin, Germany; a host of nieces and nephews; partner, Lori Jelinek; and the mother of his children, Deborah Due. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation was held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals. A Funeral Service for Daryl was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Bull Shoals Methodist Church, with Pastor Greg Coolidge and Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating. Burial will be in Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals, with Brian Lindman, Daniel Lindman, Adam Dennis, Alan Dennis, Cody Jackson, Colbie Butcher as pallbearers.
