BH Auxiliary Fundraiser

Baxter Health Auxiliary will hold a 2-day Auxiliary Fundraiser- Linens Fair. There will be blankets, quilts, Sherpa throws, bamboo memory foam pillows, and all sizes and colors of bed linens available on Monday, February 26 from 7:00 a.m.

A Sad Season

All through the fall hunting season, those of us who love to hunt waterfowl prayed for rain. The one thing you need for great duck hunting is plenty of water, and we just didn’t have it. So, I have decided to go duck hunting in the spring, when the ducks start heading back to the north. I’m going to hunt them with my camera.

Friday- Mostly sunny with a high near 62 degrees and a low near 43 degrees. Saturday- Mostly Sunny with a high of 74 degrees and a low near 53 degrees. Sunday- Partly cloudy with a high around 76 degrees and a low near 55 degrees. Next week: Expect highs to stay in the 70s and lows in the 30s early in the week for Monday with a chance of rain. Cooler weather moves in Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in 50s and lows in the 30s.

Cotter GT receives award

The ACT 56 Award is awarded to outstanding gifted programs in the state of Arkansas. The Cotter GT program was awarded the ACT 56 Award for schools under 1000 students. Lisa Coots is the GT coordinator/facilitator. The Cotter program has focused on a variety of programming options for the students that go above and beyond standards. Cotter Schools, parents and teachers are proud of the way the GT program excels from the classroom to the community.
