Beginning Monday, February 17, 2025, work will begin on the slab on MC 3022. This process will take approximately 2 weeks to install a box culvert and repair the slab.
The Bull Shoals Bugle is offering, to Bull Shoals residents only, free collars and ID tags for dogs in Bull Shoals. To date, The Bugle has given out 13 collars and ID tags to dogs living in Bull Shoals.

– Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is making significant progress in its recovery efforts following a series of infrastructure failures in January. Since the January 11 break of a base water main supplying the facility, Walter Reed also experienced a steam leak that temporarily shut down its Sterile Processing Department (SPD) and a major sprinkler pipe burst that released approximately 60,000 gallons of water into the walls, ceilings, and floors of five connected buildings.

Students on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the fall 2024 semester at Arkansas State University have been announced. The lists recognize undergraduate students who achieved the highest grade-point averages while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours of study. The Chancellor’s List (designated as CL) includes students who earned a perfect GPA of 4.0. The Dean’s List (designated as DL) includes students with a GPA of 3.6 to 3.99. The lists include students enrolled at Campus Querétaro in Mexico.
The December Meeting of the Twin Lakes Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30, Mountain Home will be held on Monday, February 17, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. The new location of the meeting is VFW post 3246, 214 w.
The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 251 monthly meeting will be on 15 February 2025, at the American Legion Post 52, 717 Market Street, Mountain Home, in the Auxiliary Room. We will have a BYO Bag Lunch at Noon and the meeting itself begins at 1:00 p.m.
