The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 invite everyone to come out this coming Friday (6/13) and Saturday (6/14) to see what sort of treasures might be found at their annual rummage sale fundraiser.

PMVFD to hold BBQ Fundraiser
Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is holding a BBQ Fundraiser on Saturday, June 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be ribs, pulled pork, smoked brisket, smoked chicken, Low County Bog, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and desserts. All proceeds go back to support the services and equipment needed for the Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. $12 for adults and $6 for kids 10 and under.

The wait is over! The 67th annual Calico Rock Lions Club Rodeo & Parade is coming to town this coming weekend, Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14.

MC Airport Board Meeting
Several concerned Marion County residents attended the May 22 meeting of the Marion County Regional Airport Board, its first meeting since the recent arrest of longtime Board Treasurer Doug Starkey. Charged with felony theft of property and abuse of office, Starkey’s arrest came after an investigation by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division uncovered over $117,000 in Airport funds allegedly taken by Starkey. The investigation was commenced at the request of the 14th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney David Ethredge.
Bull Shoals Losing Again
