Cotter Public School Board of Education met for a special meeting May 23, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the roof repair for the High School Gymnasium. Board members attended the meeting to only discuss the repair of the Gym roof, Allen Franks, Luke Walker, Russel Duggins, and Cameron Ross and Jimmy Morgan. School Administrators and other guests were also in attendance.

Attorney General Tim Griffin today issued the following statement alerting Arkansans of post-storm rebuilding scams and informing businesses that the prohibitions on price gouging in Act 367 of 1997 are now in effect after Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s declaration of a state of emergency in Executive Order 24-07 issued on May 26: “My prayers continue for everyone affected by this weekend’s storms, especially those who lost loved ones.
