Cooler weather moves in Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in 50s and lows in the 30s.

Cotter GT receives award

The ACT 56 Award is awarded to outstanding gifted programs in the state of Arkansas. The Cotter GT program was awarded the ACT 56 Award for schools under 1000 students. Lisa Coots is the GT coordinator/facilitator. The Cotter program has focused on a variety of programming options for the students that go above and beyond standards. Cotter Schools, parents and teachers are proud of the way the GT program excels from the classroom to the community.

ATU FSL students gain insight at conference

Six Arkansas Tech University students attended the 2024 Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) Central conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, during the first weekend in February. Jacob Allen of Pine Bluff, Tucker Cramm of Irving, Texas, Kiara Doshier of Yellville, Chloe Karnes of West Fork, Ellie Riddle of Damascus and Bryce Smith of Bryant represented ATU fraternity and sorority life at the conference, which drew approximately 2,400 college students from around the United States.

Hutching Seeks Reelection for MCQC
