MCLB to meet

The Marion County Library Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, May 20, in the Marion County Library to discuss reports, library director and non-discrimination policy. The meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. Yellville Appoints Duren Mayor

By Robert Lyons, Editor The Yellville City Council met Monday, May 5, to discuss the urgent matter to replace Shawn Lane as City Mayor, a proclamation, and other city business. Council members Vickie Fogerty, Maggie Davenport, Clark Gustin, Derek Pearson, Layton Lee and Lorna Goodwin attended the meeting, along with Travis Doshier, acting mayor, and Sheila Batterton, recorder.
