Poetry Corner

By Kevin Vincent Let us never forget Men & women who died Giving us their best With dignity and pride Let us never forget Their loyalty of service Marching circumspect Thinking only of us Let us never forget They put country first Hoping for the best But fearing for the worst Let us never forget Their unwavering devotion Leading the charge With no other notion Let us never forget Their sacrifices, their cost Loved ones left behind Who live with their loss Let us never forget When the end did come They only pushed onward Fighting for our freedom Let us never forget The sacrifices made The selfless persistence The courage displayed Let us never forget Keeping our country safe Doing what had to be done They were the brave Let us never forget Waving our banners wide Remembering the ones Who went with pride Let us never forget As you pray and ponder Holding your flag up high To them it was an honor Let Us Never Forget .
