This month marks the 10th anniversary of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and educating others about this often-overlooked psychiatric condition. And while roughly six percent of the American population will be diagnosed with this mental health illness in their lifetime (National Center for PTSD), no other group has been more affected by PTSD than the military community.

By now most likely the first cutting of hay is baled and in the barn. Hopefully enough hay was made to get through the winter.

The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 251 meeting is set for Saturday, July 20, 2024. THE NEW LOCATION is the Glenbriar Commons Club House, 2001 Superior Way, Mountain Home.

The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold a beef pot roast dinner fundraiser this Friday, July 12, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The menu includes scrumptious roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggie, roll, dessert and a beverage.

The North Central Arkansas Military Service Sisters will be holding its July luncheon on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 12 Noon. The location will be Holy Smokes BBQ, 400 HW 201North, Mountain Home.

Coming to our stage July 13 is Lan Law. They have recorded in Nashville, and they have opened for Collin Raye and others.
