Dr. Margaret Craighill and Her Historic Mission
First consultant on female Veterans’ medical care Following the conclusion of World War II, Craighill became one of the first consultants on female Veterans’ medical care at VA, a post she was referred to by General Omar Bradley. In this new position, she worked alongside other specialists in VA hospitals.
Arkansas Governor’s School announces Class of 2025
RUSSELLVILLE - Arkansas Governor’s School has announced the names of 360 students who completed the 46th edition of the program during summer 2025.

The cold front had stalled, and it was a brisk walk for the two boys on their way to school. Will got an early start, so the two could walk the bottom ground along Hog Creek, in hopes of jumpin’ a rabbit before school. Rabbit in the bean pot, and a nickle for the hide!
