Boozman, Cotton, Womack Announce $141 Million Additional Investment for Ebbing Air National Guard Base

Submitted by Matthew Wester WASHINGTON–– U.S. Senators John Boozman (R-AR), Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Congressman Steve Womack (R-AR-03) announced that they secured $141 million in new investments for Ebbing Air National Guard Base to further its capacity as host of the F-35 Foreign Military Sales mission. This funding was included in the Fiscal Year 2025 full-year continuing resolution.

Yellville Appoints Duren Mayor

By Robert Lyons, Editor The Yellville City Council met Monday, May 5, to discuss the urgent matter to replace Shawn Lane as City Mayor, a proclamation, and other city business. Council members Vickie Fogerty, Maggie Davenport, Clark Gustin, Derek Pearson, Layton Lee and Lorna Goodwin attended the meeting, along with Travis Doshier, acting mayor, and Sheila Batterton, recorder.

2025 Memorial Day Program

It will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. The host organization is Alley White American Legion Post 52, Mountain Home with David E. Butts serving as Master of Ceremonies.
