OFCSP to host meeting on volunteer opportunities
Ozark Folk Center State Park will host an informational meeting for individuals interested in becoming involved in the park’s programs and operations that preserve Ozark traditions as a living culture. Opportunities include participation in craft and music programs, gardens, hospitality, and restaurant operations, as well as volunteer, apprentice, and support staff roles. The meeting is free and open to the public.
It Takes a Community 2025 Version
As I sat down to write this on Saturday afternoon with the snow falling, my intention was to write down my reflections on 2025 regarding the number of events that Yellville Area Food Closet (YAFC) had throughout the year. After a distinguished 40year career in coaching, with 20 years at North Arkansas College, long-time Lady Pioneer women’s basketball coach and current athletic director Bobby Howard announced today that he will step away from coaching at the conclusion of the current season. Howard will continue serving North Arkansas College in his role as athletic director.
