Bentonville – Two prominent leaders will join Gov. Asa Hutchinson, at the inaugural “America Leads: An Ideas Summit” in Bentonville on October 19. Dr. Kori Schake and Klon Kitchen, both senior fellows at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), will be featured with other thought leaders and policy makers at the summit to discuss practical, actionable ideas and policies to address major issues being faced by the United States.
Recently, Miss Zoe Barnett from Flippin High School, was awarded the 3rd place in the 2022 Arkansas Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest held by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Zoe Barnett, age 14, received cash award for her work which was created to honor her grandfather who served in Vietnam.
Tony Dow, aka Wally Clever, older brother to Theodore “Beaver” Clever, has died following a recent Liver Cancer diagnosis. Dow’s management team had announced that he died on Tuesday, but later in the day it was said that the announcement was inaccurate and that he was still alive in hospice.
