The Life and Times of a Small-Town Arkansas Girl

Back in the day (in this case the 1960s), every kid needed a best buddy, especially in a small rural town like Flippin. A partner-in-crime, a ride-ordie, a sidekick to help navigate the “mean streets” of Flippin. (Wow, how many cliches can I include in one sentence? Evidently, at least four.) Of course, all of this is tongue-in-cheek. In the Flippin of the 1960s, crime was virtually non-existent, the streets were kind and peaceful, and my friends and I were pretty good kids.

Boozman: Won’t Stand for Veterans Resources Being Ripped Away, Diverted to Southern Border

UAFS Hosts Grand Opening for Center for Economic Development

Asa Hutchinson waxed poetic about the state of workforce development, economic investments, technology, and industry in the River Valley, and he noted the integral role the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Center for Economic Development will play in continuing that legacy for years to come.
