Public Libraries Lend One Billion Titles with the Libby Reading App

CLEVELAND – As public libraries continue their mission to serve their communities, a major milestone was reached for the most popular ebook, audiobook, magazine and comics app for library patrons: one billion digital books borrowed in Libby, the library reading app. The Libby app, created by OverDrive, is used in over 22,000 public libraries and thousands of colleges, universities, corporate libraries and learning centers.

Arkansas Weekly Gas Price Update

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have risen 6.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.14/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 36.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 16.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 5.4 cents in the last week and stands at $4.65 per gallon.

Mosley, MD, Joins WR Emergency Dept.

FAYETTEVILLE — Joel “Cam” Mosley, MD, recently joined Washington Regional’s emergency department, where he specializes in treating patients with acute illnesses and injuries. He will also serve as the program director for the UAMS/Washington Regional emergency medicine residency program, which is currently being developed.
