AR-BIC 2023 to Explore the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Public Health

Little Rock – The Arkansas Bioinformatics Consortium (AR-BIC) is hosting its annual meeting on March 13 and 14, 2023, at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock, AR. The ninth meeting of the AR-BIC is expected to draw hundreds of researchers, data scientists, students, and academic leaders to central Arkansas.

J.B. Hunt Provides Nearly $9m in Appreciation Bonuses

LOWELL – J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (NASDAQ: JBHT), one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, announced that for the second consecutive year its subsidiary J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. will award appreciation bonuses to full-time company drivers and full-time hourly maintenance and office employees. The total amount awarded will exceed $8.8 million.

Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act

This week, the House voted on the H.R. 22, Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act, of which I was an early co-sponsor. This legislation prevents the Secretary of Energy from selling any Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) oil to an entity affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or any entity that plans to export it to China.
