By The Mountain Echo There will be a reception from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Yellville Methodist Church on Sunday, October 26, in honor of Quintelle Cole’s 100th Birthday. All family members invite everyone to come and join Quintelle’s birthday celebration.

EROS - Heather Knapp, the librarian at Ozark Mountain School, purchased books for the elementary students at the Bruno-Pyatt campus with memorial funds donated by Mr. Jimmy Joe Sasser. Mr. Sasser worked as an educator for almost 40 years of his life. He was the principal at the Bruno-Pyatt School for many years and loved teaching, playing music and singing with all the children.

FLIPPIN – The Flippin City Council met for a regular meeting to discuss city business Tuesday, September 23, at 6 p.m. inside the Flippin City Courtroom. Topics scheduled for discussion were the July and August minutes (the August meeting was cancelled), city finances, USDA Grant for FPD, Fire and Police departments and to add Colbie Butcher to signature card.
