On April 12, 2022, Marion County Quorum Court voted to approve the purchase of the Orion Damage Assessment program for the Marion County Office of Emergency Management, Ordinance 2022-20. The Orion system utilizes information that is assessed during or after a storm to calculate and pre-fill FEMA required forms for reimbursement of repairs to roads/bridges, public infrastructure and calculate the amount of damage to personal property.

Little Rock – The recent auction of tax-delinquent properties in Marion County raised over $700,000, the Commissioner of State Lands announced. The auction drew 43 bidders, who purchased 43 of the 53 available parcels for a total of $701,464.70 for county and state government.

The Yellville City Council met Monday, August 1, to discuss city business to include old business, new business and paying the bills in the Yellville City Hall. Shawn Lane led the meeting that was attend by Clark Gustin, Ken Rigmaiden, Maggie Davenport, Vickie Fogerty and Lorna Goodwin representing the city council.
