Hospice of the Ozarks recently hosted its first grief camp for children, Camp Willow. The name Camp Willow was chosen because one of the most valuable traits of the willow tree is its flexibility, strength, and stability.
YMOS welcomes Jerry Hopper
Coming to our Stage on June 24 is the local band Jerry Hopper Band. This band is from Mountain Home. They have been on our stage several times over the years. They play a variety of music from Country to Rock and Roll. You would not want to miss this band.

Hooker Named to Ole Miss Spring Dean’s Honor Roll
Oxford, Mississippi - Abbylee Hooker, of Flippin, was named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2023 Honor Roll lists. Hooker, majoring in Political Science, was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

Flippin Art/Preserve the Past
Shayla Stowe, grade 8 from Flippin Middle School won 3rd Place in the Preserve the Past Art Contest. The contest is open to all Arkansas 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Submissions must be related to a historic Arkansas property that is 50 years old or older. The contest was sponsored by the Arkansas Preservation Historical Program. Shalya’s artwork will be on display at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock throughout June.
