London Leads UFAS Housing

Rachel Rodemann Putman, Associate Director for Strategic Communications This fall, students at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will work with a slate of rock-star student affairs professionals thanks to a series of strategic hires and promotions in the Student Life Office, beginning with Stephanie London, who will serve as Assistant Dean of Students for Housing and Campus and Community Engagement. London, who earned her bachelor’s degree from UAFS, has served the university for 15 years and played an integral role in its growth.

Carol Short Who is Mark Dobbs, why does he have a poker run in his honor and what is his connection to Bull Shoals Library? Mark was a Navy Captain who retired after 28 years of service and moved to Bull Shoals, a place he and his family had enjoyed for over 30 years. He completed both a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Arkansas State University.

BH Celebrates Grand Opening Of Newly Remodeled 5 South

courtesy of Baxter Health Mountain Home – Today, Baxter Health celebrated the grand opening of the newly remodeled Baxter Health Auxiliary 5 South Surgical Services nursing unit at an open house attended by hospital leadership, local dignitaries and Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation donors. The patient- centric remodel included the addition of 6 new patient rooms and an expanded waiting room.

FSD Prepares for New School Year

On Thursday, July 28, the Flippin School Board met to discuss the start of the Flippin School District (FSD) start of the 2022-23 school year.
