The Flippin School Board is scheduled to meet at the Flippin Administration Building Monday March 27, at 6 p.m. The agenda consists of reports from principals, superintendent, possible new hires and busses.

Did you know that having some trouble remembering is normal? Simple things like not being able to remember where you put your keys, having trouble remembering what you need at the grocery store, or losing your eyeglasses again? Some forgetfulness is a normal problem in our everyday, busy lives. We often are multi-tasking, making it hard to remember all the small actions we are doing.

For many in eastern Arkansas, lost mail or lengthy delivery delays have become frustratingly persistent problems. I routinely hear from folks throughout the First District, and have experienced personally, these failures; they all stem from a systemic issue at the Memphis United States Postal Service (USPS) sorting facility.

The Bull Shoals Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post 1341 will host a week of events for Veterans. Post 1341 is located at 1206 Central Blvd., Bull Shoals.

House members will now be taking an extended recess. When the House reconvenes on March 27, members will be addressing public safety legislation, constitutional amendments, and the budget.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators John Boozman (R-AR) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) along with Congressman Rick Crawford (AR-01) introduced legislation to create a commemorative coin in remembrance of the Sultana Steamboat tragedy with a portion of the proceeds allotted to funding the preservation, maintenance and display of artifacts at the Sultana Disaster Museum in Marion, Arkansas.
