Volltrauer elected to the Hall of Fame

Joseph Volltrauer, local business owner and founder of Volt Plastics was elected into the International Fastners Hall of Fame. Volltrauer started Volt Plastics nearly 31-years ago and has built the manufacturing business in to a leading company in the business of manufacturing plastic nuts, bolts and other plastic fastners used in business applications on a daily basis.

Ark. Delegation supports Gov. Request for Major Disaster Declaration

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton—along with Congressmen Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman—wrote to President Joe Biden urging him to support Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ request for a major disaster declaration for Bradley, Calhoun, Cleveland, Dallas, Desha, Drew, Grant, Jefferson, Lincoln, Nevada, Ouachita, Searcy and Stone Counties due to severe winter weather from January 30-February 2, 2023.

Arkansas Weekly Gas Price Update

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 3.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 1.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 78.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
