Hill N Hollow Quilters Guild 40th Anniversary
by Peggy Moody, Chair Communications and Public Relations A quilt exhibit by members of Hill ‘N Hollow Quilters Guild will be held at The Sheid at ASU during the month of August 2023. “Our 40 years 1984-2023” features beginner, intermediate, and award-winning quilts. A reception will be held August 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.
BS meet for regular meeting
by Cindy Young Just two days after a special meeting of the Bull Shoals City Council where tempers ran hot, and discord was evident, relative calm returned at the regular monthly meeting of the Council on June 29. All Council members were in attendance, as well as Mayor Mike Savu and Recorder Tina Bailey.

New Dialing Procedure for Customers with the Arkansas 870 Area Code
by Carolyn Chentnik All customers with the 870-area code should prepare for 10-digit dialing and the introduction of the new 327-area code. The 327-area code will be added as an overlay to the 870 regions.
