At Yellville-Summit Elementary would like to congratulate students from the elementary school that have achieved the highest grades in the school. The first semester is sometimes the hardest because students are coming back to school after being out of school for the Summer after going through the “Summer Slide”.

Mountain Home - The Baxter Health Auxiliary has generously donated yet another pair of new ambulances to the Baxter Health EMS Fleet. The Baxter Health Auxiliary has supported the fundraising arm of the hospital since 1962, providing ongoing financial support to the hospital in various forms to meet critical needs within the community.

Hard decisions have had to be made, and some were not popular, but I am proud to say that the county is in better financial shape now than it was when I was first elected. Good day, friends and family of the Mountaineer Echo. I hope this day finds everyone in great spirits and great health. We are all ding good on this end. My son is doing well in Alabama, fixing to make the trip to Tennessee for one more run at a different Nuclear Plant, he is really enjoying it, but ready to be home for a while so come November 9, (my youngest sons birthday), the party will be, all three of my sons at home for a short period of time, I’m sure my daughter and her family will make an appearance as well. I will be one happy momma! Also, one more thing, I want to invite everyone out to Color Rama this weekend and I hope to get to meet so many of you at our booth. Much excitement for this opportunity.
