NWTF Yellville National and Arkansas State Turkey Calling Contest
On July 22, the Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center, in partnership with the Arkansas Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the National Wild Turkey Federation, hosted the NWTF Yellville National and Arkansas State Wild Turkey Calling Contest. 35 entrants competed in six categories and showed off their amazing talents as they “called those turkeys”.

Cleaning House for the Fire Department
The Little Bit Used Shop in Bull Shoals is having a sale to help the Bull Shoals Fire Department raise money for dive equipment, twoway radios, air packs and other necessary items needed for the department. The sale is scheduled August 7 -12 and will feature two bags of clothing for $7.00.
Moose Lodge holds Yard Sale
The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold an indoor Yard Sale fundraiser this coming Friday, July 28, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Kick-Off Event
The Community Outreach is sponsoring a Pet Food Donation Drive in honor of Coco’s Party Wednesday, August 2. The Pet Food Drive will collect donations and distribute products to the local pet shelters.
