So, last week we talked about starting and up potting seeds. This week we will talk about getting those seedlings ready to go out in the garden. Once they start growing their true leaves and getting bigger you will want to have some air circulating and moving your starts like the wind moves plants outside. This will make your plants stems sturdier and much hardier so they will better adjust to the outside conditions.

Welcome back to my family’s kitchen y’all. I am so glad to have you joining the table this week! We have been so busy with softball and t-ball games just about every other night, that dinners have been on the fly and later than normal. Not to worry though, I have some tricks up my sleeves for those busy work and school night dinners without going through the drive thru and spending all that money on take-out when you could be saving it for a nice vacation.

Tuesday, April 4, Bergman Junior High, Cotter Junior High, Ozark Mountain and Yellville-Summit High School competed in the Junior High Bomber Relays at Mountain Home High School. The results are as follows: Boys 100 Meter Dash Finals 11 Kayden Sabo Ozark Mountain

The Yellville-Summit Y-S Panthers and Lady Panthers traveled to compete in the Jerry Roberts Memorial National Guard Relays at Vilonia High School Thursday, April 6. This track meet featured Y-S and many of the largest high schools in the state.

Kyle Evatt, the Region 2 Prevention Provider with the North Arkansas Partnership for Health Education (NAPHE) donated 50 Operation Parent Handbooks to Grandma’s House CAC along with other trauma focused/substance use prevention materials.
