Jason F. Tennant, President and Chief Lending Officer, CS Bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Joe Don Sharp as Senior Vice President/ Loan Officer of for the bank’s Boone County Market. Born and raised in Yellville, Mr. Sharp graduated from Yellville High School in 1996 and then went on to attend College of the Ozarks. He resides in Berryville with his wife Ashley and their two children Sadie and Sophia.

His name is John Ross, but he goes by Jack. Jack is a decorated Army veteran. Jack served 2 tours in Vietnam. His first tour he was a door gunner on a helicopter, and he liked helicopters so much that he decided that when he got back to the U.S., he went to helicopter pilot training.

Kolton Jensen and Woods Wrecker Service were honored at the National American Towman Exposition in Baltimore, Maryland Saturday, November 19, 2022. The Order of the Towman is the highest honor to be received in the industry and is presented by American Towman magazine.

Last Saturday, December 3, the VFW Post 1341 of Bull Shoals was proud to present a check for $800 to the combined police and fire departments of Bull Shoals for their Shop-With-Cop program. This is an annual thing that we partner up with our city protectors.

Tragedies happen and are always heartbreaking but especially so at the holidays. In an earlier column, we mentioned briefly about this one but want to elaborate.

First off, let me apologize for missing last week’s column. Like many others, I was battling one of the many “bugs” going around right now and just couldn’t muster the energy and focus to get the column finished. And, thank you to those of you who contacted me to ask why there was no “Growing Up Flippin” in the paper. You warmed my heart and, who knows, maybe helped my healing! I assure you, its absence was no fault of the Mountaineer Echo.
