Juvenile in possession of Firearm

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an incident involving a student being in possession of a firearm on the Yellville-Summit High School campus. Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander advised deputies responded to the campus after a firearm was recovered by the School Resource Officer assigned to Yellville-Summit campus.

Bears win to go to State

The Ozark Mountain Bears traveled to Hector High School to face the Mansfield Tigers in the opening round of the 2A West Regional Basketball Tournament. Mansfield won the opening tip to start the game and led most of the first period.
