Little Rock - Brad Spradlin has been named the Executive Vice President of AGC Arkansas, the Arkansas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, located in Little Rock. Spradlin brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

YSSB expels student 1-year

The Yellville-Summit School Board met for a special Board Meeting Monday, March 6, 2023, in the Administrative Building at 5:30 p.m. Jason Jones, Robin Lee, Nathan Rogers, Eleanor Davenport, Travis Doshier were in attendance, along with Wes Henderson, superintendent and David Wyatt, High School principal.

Sowing the Seeds of Leadership

Join leaders from around the state Saturday, March 18, for the Sowing the Seeds of Leadership Workshop. The workshop is scheduled to be held at the North Little Rock Justice Center. The address is 1 Justice Center Drive in North Little Rock. Anyone wishing to attend can plan for registration to begin a 9 a.m. and the workshop to be held from 9:30 a.m. till 3 p.m. Drinks will be provided, but you will need to bring your own lunch. This event will be provided by the Leadership Committee. The Committee consists of Patricia Murray, Carol Westergren and Lisa Evridge. The motto for the event is: Great Leader Focus on the Seeds not the Flowers. Save the date and plan to attend.

UPDATE: Additional Charges in Mail Theft case

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that additional charges have been filed on two (2) suspects originally arrested in Marion County for stealing mail from residential mailboxes. Sheriff Alexander reported that suspects WHITNEY NICOLE TOWNSEND and TYLER STEVEN DUDLEY were originally arrested on February 8, 2023 in connection with several area mail thefts that occurred in late January and early February of this year after local citizens reported observing the suspects stealing mail from mailboxes in a Yellville neighborhood.
