We were granted $970 from the Twin Lakes Community Foundation for improvements to the visitation room at the Marion County CALL Support Center. We will be using the money for a rocking chair, a changing table, new toy storage, and other items.

Kevin Patterson won the Bonafide RS 117 Fishing Kayak! Marion County Community Services, Inc. sponsored the raffle, and the drawing took place at the Swamp Fox Eclipse Music Festival on April 6. All proceeds from the Kayak Raffle go toward the Marion County Community Center Project. Many thanks to all who participated!

Community members gathered at the Pea Ridge Cemetery for the annual spring cleanup on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Located approximately 4 miles south of Bruno on Marion County Road 5008, the rural cemetery provides a serene resting place for loved ones.
Friday- Chance of rain with high near 75 degrees and a low near 55 degrees. Saturday- Partly sunny with a high of 82 degrees and a low in the lower 60s.

Annual Decoration Days for the cemetery will be May 17, 18 & 19. Donations for maintenance of the Flippin Cemetery can be made this weekend at the cemetery or you may mail it to either Greg Hopper, P.O Box 211, Flippin, Arkansas, 72634 or Linda Swaters, 8208 MC 7041, Flippin, Arkansas, 72634.

This is the first-time driving Cinder, Lord willing, my future garden tiller. She is 14 months old. Notice I have the lines attached to her halter, no bridle, no bit. This is what we should strive for when starting a young colt; keep them calm. Notice her eyes are about half closed. She is acting as if I have worn her out tired, when in fact we had just started; maybe been in harness for five minutes.
The May Meeting of the Twin Lakes Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30, Mountain Home will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. The location of the meeting is the Meeting Room of the Mountain Home Police Department at 424 W.
The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Twin Lakes Unit 30 will be meeting on Wednesday May 15, 2024. The location will be the Heinz-Willett Wellness Center at Good Samaritan Campus, 300 Good Samaritan Drive, Mountain Home. We will start promptly at 1:00 p.m.
North Central Arkansas Veterans Council is sponsoring the May 27, 2024, Annual Memorial Day Commemoration at Veterans Plaza 2000 in Mountain Home, promptly at 11:00 a.m. The host organization is Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 30 of Mountain Home.
