CONWAY - Emily R Mears of Yellville, was named to the University of Central Arkansas fall 2023 Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s List in a given semester, a student must earn a 3.50 or higher-grade point average on a minimum of twelve hours of undergraduate degree credit with no incomplete grades.
Saturday, February 3, North Arkansas College (NAC) held the Homecoming Ceremony and inducted four new individuals into the NAC Hall of Fame. Before the basketball game, Emma Blankenship was crowned 2024 Homecoming Queen during the homecoming ceremony.

On January 13, Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center, along with several other AGFC centers and regional offices, hosted the 3rd Annual Big Squirrel Challenge. Participants came from all over the Ozark region to show off their squirrel hunting skills, and the results were not disappointing.
