Little Rock – Auditor of State Dennis Milligan, who took office on Jan. 10th, issued the following statement today regarding the death of his successor, State Treasurer Mark Lowery: “I am shocked and disheartened to hear of the passing of State Treasurer Mark Lowery. The death of a fellow Constitutional officer and public servant is terrible news to hear.

MCQC Handles Business

The Marion County Quorum Court met Tuesday, July 11, at 6 p.m., in the Marion County Court Complex to accept reports from the committees, elected officials and consider potential ordinances for Marion County. Justices Rolin Hutching, Mike Scrima, Marty Nickels, Joyce McCalla, Rick White, Talon Vancuren, Claudia Brigham and Wesley Shipman were in attendance along with Jason Stumph, Marion County Judge and John Russo, Marion County Attorney.
