It’s time to start planning for fall cover crops. No one wants to think of Harvest’s end just as the vegetable garden reaches its peak---but now is the time to plan for cover crops to be planted in the fall.

Hey Mountain Echo fam, how is everyone’s week going? I hope it has been fantastic and the kiddos are getting back into the school routine smoothly. We had a rough week, but it ended well, Big Sis came home asking if we could just homeschool her and ended the week making a new friend.

The Good Samaritan Society will host a Blood Drive Thursday, August 24, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

ALL Marion County Jurors need to be sure to call the night before every scheduled date to confirm reporting. Marion County Jurors on both the ORANGE and the GRAY Panels need to call after 4:30p.m.

Summer is the time to give back to those who need blood most in order to combat the reduction in donations that comes during these warmer months. The Armed Services Blood Program is urging donors to step up and donate blood this summer.
