Welcome back to the kitchen y’all! Since this weekend is Memorial weekend, I figured a great potluck recipe would be a must. And maybe I should do a sweet treat recipe as well as a side? The two recipes I am sharing this week are family get together must-haves. If we don’t have these at every family gathering, there are lots of disgruntled people asking where they are. You may have to double or triple these recipes depending on how many you’re feeding.

Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly all-u-can-eat fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, April 7, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.

April is a month that is traditionally filled with rain in hopes the flowers will grow to be very beautiful to the eyes. April 2023 is the month The Mountaineer Echo transformed back to The Mountain Echo and moved back to the original building in Yellville.
