Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly all-u-can-eat fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, April 7, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.

The VA Office of Inspector General (OIG) conducted a review to assess implementation and use of VA Video Connect (VVC) prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The OIG explored why providers used telephone communication more frequently than VVC at the onset of the pandemic and how the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) resolved technology issues. Experiences of a subset of providers who used VVC from October 2016 through July 2021 were examined to identify benefits of and barriers to VVC use.

JACKSONVILLE — Nearly 5,400 boys and girls statewide signed up for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Youth Shooting Sports Program this spring, and the first of four regional tournaments starts this Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, to determine which of those kids’ teams are the best in 2023.
