For the week ending January 5, Deputies responded to sixty (60) calls for service. Of those, Deputies provided three (3) wellness checks and worked four (4) domestic disturbances. Four (4) misdemeanor arrests were made.

Have-A-Heart Pet Shelter Happy New Year to all our readers! We hope 2024 will prove to be a good year for us all and for all the furbabies we care for! Our Cat of the Week is Tom. Tom (and his sister, Tina) were found abandoned in a parking lot at only six weeks old.

Ozark Mountain 4-H club members learned how to sew on buttons at their monthly meeting last week! This club meets at Bruno-Pyatt School and is led by Shelley Crombie and Stephanie Evans. .

Greetings from all the furbabies and volunteers at Have-A-Heart! We hope to see many of you at Turkey Trot this weekend, where we will have a booth with lots of goodies for sale so come see us and support the Shelter. Please note, the Shelter will be closed this Friday and Saturday, October 13, 14 because we will all be at Turkey Trot.
