PETS OF THE WEEK

Here it is, Thanksgiving week, and Have a Heart Shelter, is thankful for another successful Soup and Chili Supper with Cake and Pie Auction this past Saturday. There was a packed house of community supporters, but we are all beat and we will report more results next week.

Twin Lakes Community Foundation

honors donors, launches literacy endowment Mountain Home – The Twin Lakes Community Foundation (TLCF) announced the establishment of an endowment to support childhood literacy during its donor appreciation luncheon. The Early Childhood Education for Twin Lakes Area Endowment was formed in honor of the organization’s 20th anniversary.

Hopper back in Bull Shoals

Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts is back at the Theater Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. With a crowd favorite anywhere, they go. We are glad to have them back The Jerry Hopper Band: Jerry Hopper grew up on country music and a “little bit of rock-in-roll”. He mastered the guitar at a young age, playing with his dad and other seasoned local musician. While still a teenager, he played with Bob Carson and the Monkey Run Boys, a local band known as the Stingrays, and later form the group Mighty Fines He recorded his first album in Nashville in 1983, and through the years has made four additional country and 3 gospel albums.
