Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will again host its annual charity bowl-athon to benefit the Peitz Cancer Support House. The fun, family event will be held on Saturday, May 6, at Driftwood Lanes beginning at 12:00 p.m.

The first spring dinner meeting of the Marion County Cattlemen’s Association will be held Thursday, April 20, at 6:30 in the Flippin cafeteria. Powell Feed will be sponsoring the meeting and the program will include Aaron Box of Elanco (cydectin wormer). All members and potential members are encouraged to attend.

2022 Tax statements will be mailed out this week. We have converted to a new software program TaxPro, which is more secure.

The Marion County Airport Board, MCAB, currently has no plans to hold a board meeting during the month of April. The MCAB plans to keep the public aware of future meetings as the meetings are announced.

The volunteers of Have-A-Heart Pet Shelter (HAH) continue to be very busy. Sometimes it seems it is a never-ending cycle of abandoned furbabies...we care for them, find them wonderful homes, and get calls of more abandoned furbabies.

The City of Yellville will be hosting an Interlocal Agreement Meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Yellville City Hall.
