Fall 2024 Chancellor’s and Dean’s List Announced

Students on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the fall 2024 semester at Arkansas State University have been announced. The lists recognize undergraduate students who achieved the highest grade-point averages while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours of study. The Chancellor’s List (designated as CL) includes students who earned a perfect GPA of 4.0. The Dean’s List (designated as DL) includes students with a GPA of 3.6 to 3.99. The lists include students enrolled at Campus Querétaro in Mexico.

Update: Gauger Death

By Gregg L. Alexander, Sheriff Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that a joint investigation between the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police led to the arrest of a Flippin man in the death of Alisha Marie Gauger (white/female born August 8, 1982). The Sheriff stated deputies, and first responders were called to a residence on Marion County (MC) Road 7057 in April 2024, after receiving a call from Michael R. Moore, who stated he found Gauger unresponsive in their residence. Deputies responded to the residence and called for Investigators, who processed the scene and collected evidence that included drug paraphernalia and other items associated with the ingestion of illegal narcotics.
