I talked to the new director of the Missouri Department of Conservation this week, and he gives me some hope. He hails from Ozarks country, the small community of Lincoln, Missouri, where he and his dad kept coonhounds and hunted coons and sold their pelts.

Senate Appropriations Committee Advances Boozman-Led Bill Funding Military Infrastructure and Veterans Care

WASHINGTON – The Senate Appropriations Committee advanced legislation crafted by U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR), ranking member of the Senate Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Subcommittee, that delivers $128.5 million to Arkansas for the future pilot training center at Ebbing Air National Guard Base in addition to making significant investments to improve servicemembers and their families’ quality of life and robustly fund veterans’ health care and benefits.

Sanders Signs an Executive Order to Provide Additional Relief in Regards to Tax Filing and Payment Deadlines

Storm victims will gain a bit of relief when it comes to filing taxes this year. An executive order was signed by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, governor, because of storms that brought tornadoes, straight-line damaging winds and heavy rain to residents across the Northern part of Arkansas.
