The City of Bull Shoals is seeking to fill a part-time administrative assistant position. This position will entail working closely with the Mayor, Treasurer and Court Clerk and assisting other Department Heads as necessary.Salary commensurate with experience. Resume Deadline is April 29th, 2024.

LITTLE ROCK - Arkansas Boys State, a leadership and civic engagement experience sponsored by the American Legion, is proud to announce its 83rd session, which will be hosted May 26 - 31, 2024, at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA).

The legislature convened the fiscal session and will spend the next month working on a $6.3 billion budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1. The legislature has always approved conservative budgets, and the balanced budget proposed by the governor is very conservative even by traditional standards.

By Peggy Pentkowski Due to an error in my reporting, I would like to make the following changes. Our Spring Marion County Book/Bake/ yard sale will be Friday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m.

Brigham announced the budget committee will meet on the fourth Thursday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. inside the Marion County Court Complex Building. Also, the quorum court decided that Justice Hutching cannot represent Marion County in Little Rock and John Reed will fill-in. The next MCQC meet is scheduled to meet May 14, in the MC Courthouse at 6 p.m.
