TLP “Outside Mullingar”

Twin Lakes Playhouse’s second production of the 2024 season, Outside Mullingar, will open Friday night, April 26. Directed by Olivia Wolfe, this play tells the story of Anthony and Rosemary who are two introverted misfits, straddling 40. Anthony has spent his entire life on a cattle farm in rural Ireland, a state of affairs that – due to his painful shyness – suits him well. Rosemary lives right next door, determined to make him hers, but watching the years slip away. 2A Region 1 JH Conference Championships

The Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers and the Y-S Panthers traveled to the Junior High Conference Championships Wednesday, April 17, to compete in the Conference Track and Field events at Eureka Springs High School, The Junior Lady Panthers won the conference title, while the Junior Panthers finished a good showing finishing in 3rd place.

Bull Shoals loses yet another Mayor

The City of Bull Shoals has seen tumultuous times over the past 10 years. The city has lost two mayors because of resignation and lost four police chiefs in the same period. Tuesday, April 16, Michael Savu walked into Bull Shoals City Hall and delivered his resignation to Tina Bailey, city recorder/ treasurer, approximately at 9:15 a.m.
