Below are the February events for Alley-White Post/Unit 52, American Legion. Every Tuesday: Crafting at The Post from 10:00 a.m.

The Friends of the Marion County Library are having their first Book/ bake/yard sale this year at the American Legion Hut on the dates of April 18, 19 and 20 of this year. These sales are our way of raising money to support our library in Marion County.

Jerry McCoy, who is one of the best north Arkansas guides, especially for White River trout, will be at our swap meet on Saturday with all kinds of antique and modern fishing gear and antique lures. He is an expert on old fishing lures and old gear, and he buys a lot of those.

The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold a beef pot roast dinner fundraiser this Thursday, March 7 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The menu includes scrumptious roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggie, roll, dessert and a beverage.

After unanimous votes by both the Fulton County Quorum Court on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, and the Baxter Health System Board of Directors on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Fulton County Hospital has reached a long-term agreement to become part of the Baxter Health System.

Service Make plans to attend the Twin Lakes Beef and Forage Conference to be held on Thursday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cotter High School Cafeteria, hosted by Cotter FFA.
