Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its first monthly fried fish and shrimp dinner of 2024 this coming Friday, March 1st from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.
HOT SPRINGS — The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts is now accepting applications for Summer@ASMSA camps. Summer@ASMSA is free, one-week summer camps for current eighth- and ninth-grade students in all Arkansas schools as well as 7th-graders participating in ASMSA-TIP.
All through the fall hunting season, those of us who love to hunt waterfowl prayed for rain. The one thing you need for great duck hunting is plenty of water, and we just didn’t have it. So, I have decided to go duck hunting in the spring, when the ducks start heading back to the north. I’m going to hunt them with my camera.

The City Council is supposed to be the voice of the people. As long as, the citizens’ requests are reasonable and within the costs of the city budget, those reasonable requests must be adhered to.
Baxter Health Auxiliary will hold a 2-day Auxiliary Fundraiser- Linens Fair. There will be blankets, quilts, Sherpa throws, bamboo memory foam pillows, and all sizes and colors of bed linens available on Monday, February 26 from 7:00 a.m.
