Public education stands as the primary expenditure within state government. This month, the House and Senate Education Committees began working on the Educational Adequacy Study.

The Poets’ Roundtable of Arkansas is once again sponsoring its collegiate poetry contest. The 2024 Pat Laster Collegiate Poetry Contest is open to Arkansas residents, ages 18 to 25, who are attending Arkansas colleges during the submission period of January 1, 2024, through March 15, 2024.

Consumer Decision Making (CDM) is a competitive 4-H event that teaches financial management, consumerism, and decisionmaking skills.
