Yellville - Marion County 4-H members participated in 4-H State O’Rama on the campus of University of Arkansas in July along with more than 300 youth, county staff and volunteers from 51 of the 75 Arkansas counties. This was the first in-person State O’Rama since 2019, according to Marion County Extension 4-H Agent Billie Collins.

Karen Lynn Tablish, age 66, of Yellville passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in Little Rock. Karen was born December 1, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas to Harold C. and Jimmie Carolyn (McEntire) Mears. She was a loving wife and mother and she had worked as librarian at North Arkansas Community College in Harrison. Karen was a free spirit.
