APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE 2023-104

BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT OF MARION COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED: AMENDMENT TO THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGETAND NUMBERS AND COMPENSATION ORDINANCE 2022-98, TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM AMERICAN RESCUE FUND (3046) TO AMERICAN RESCUE FUND-REA VALLEY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT (RVFPD) FUND (3046-0506). THE TOTAL AMOUNT WILL BE $35,000.00.

Friday-Partly cloudy with a high near 90 degrees and a low of 64 decrees with a slight chance of rain. Saturday- Partly cloudy with a high of 88 degrees and a low near 63 degrees. Slight chance of rain possible. Sunday- Partly cloudy with a high around 87 degrees and a low near 62 degrees. Next week expect Temperatures to in the mid to low 80s for highs and upper 50s to low 60s for lows with partly cloudy conditions. Rain chances go up later in the week.

Special meeting in Flippin

The Flippin City Council held a special meeting ahead of the regular meeting for the city Tuesday, September 19 to discuss the potential of purchasing the Farmers and Merchants vacant building located in Flippin. Attending the meeting was council members Jodi Howard, Margaret Ott, Lacy Bettencourt Tony Ford and Heith Hogan, mayor.
