MCQC pays bills?

The Marion County Quorum Court met Tuesday, May 9, in the Marion County Courthouse to discuss the agenda, including ordinances, resolutions and appointments, as well as hear the reports from the elected officials of Marion County, committees and reports from other public officials. Marion County Justices Mike Scrima, Claudia Brigham, Marty Nickels, Talon Vancuren, Rick White, Joyce McCalla, Rolin Hutching, John Reed and Wesley Shipman were in attendance; along with Jason Stumph, Marion County Judge.

A Not-So-Bad Invader

A collared dove came up to visit Lightnin’ Ridge yesterday. My wooded ridgetop is of little interest to him as far as a nesting site. Mourning doves fly up here and feed on bird-feeder seed that is scattered on the ground.
