Congratulations to the Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers for advancing to the 2023 Class 2A State Championship tournament played at Rector High School. The Lady Panthers face the eventual state champion in the opening round of the tourney and fell to Mount Vernon-Enola 63-53.

I got a call this morning from a dairy farmer who says there is a bear hanging around his barn that sends his dairy cows into a panic, and they won’t even go into the barn to be milked. He says he believes it is a female with a cub because he has seen the cub in past years.
