Women Business Owners are Optimistic

StatePoint Media StatePoint - Even as they ride out inflationary pressures, supply chain disruptions and economic uncertainty, women owners and executives of small and mid-size majority-women-owned businesses have an optimistic outlook about the near-term future of their businesses, according to a recent survey. The PNC Bank survey found that women business owner (WBO) expectations for their own companies remain strong, with 41 percent feeling highly optimistic -- up from 29 percent in the fall of 2020 but down from 67 percent in the fall of 2021 -- while the share of those feeling pessimistic has held constant at just 1 percent.

LOWELL – J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (NASDAQ: JBHT), one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, announced that for the second consecutive year its subsidiary J.B. Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have risen 15.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.08/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 43.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 11.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 2.6 cents in the last week and stands at $4.60 per gallon.

Mail Theft in MC

Please be advised that deputies have responded to complaints of stolen mail in the past several days from residences located northeast of Flippin near the Fairview community as well as Marion County 7023 in Flippin. Deputies have taken reports of stolen mail and have also recovered mail that had not yet been reported as stolen.
